East & Young take a mighty ‘Swing’ and hit the jackpot with up-for-it house that’s strictly sunny side up, Marc Van Oosterbaan and Frank Kuiper showing all the glam, goodtime vibes that have earned endorsement from the scene’s big timers. Its destination Balearics with this artwrk release, the pair putting together vocals of soft temptation, melodies made from reedy, click-clacking strings, and what sounds like a cartoon steam engine choo-chooing approval. Placed on top of rock solid beats and bass, the Dutch duo have a good thing going on.

Belgian producer StanV comes through with his brand-new single ‘Zone T’ on High Contrast. This is perhaps the adjective that best describes StanV’s productions and performances. The soundscape of ‘Zone T’ is organic and cosy, like a crisp light moving at a different speed to the rest of the world.
